WATER ISSUES

Homes & Industries Are Currently Facing A Serious Threat Due To
Rising Impurities In Ground Water, Tanker Water As Well As Corporation Water.

Types Of Impurities

  • Hard Water

Hard water is water that has high mineral content (in contrast with “soft water”).

Hard water is formed when water percolates through deposits of limestone and chalk which are largely made up of calcium and magnesium carbonates.

When hard water is boiled at home or in industries, it leaves deposits of calcium and magnesium salts in kettles, hot-water pipes, boilers and radiators.

These deposits reduce the efficiency of boilers, kettles and pipes and can cause blockages and even bursting of the boilers.

We have the technology to treat hard water in both the ‘chemical method’ as well as the ‘natural enviorment-friendly method, based on the situation.

  • Turbid Water

Turbidity is all about how clear your water is. The scale in which this is measured is in NTU (Nephelometric Turbidity Units).

Since most of todays cities are prone to such enviornments, with industries being situation in and around us, this can be a serious concern for every home.

The big issue with turbid water is that your baths will not give you that freshness. You actually feel more polluted after a bath. Have you experienced this?

Your clothes may get even more dirty after a single wash. Your white linens and inner wear also change to a dull colour after a wash.

Our solutions will help you experience a sudden freshness after your baths, and will also see a considerable difference in the water quality.

  • Coloured Water

If your water suddenly changes color—no matter what color it becomes—it could indicate a public health concern. Do not use the water.

    – Green or blue water: This is usually caused by corrosion of copper plumbing. If corrosion is occurring, dripping water will leave a bluish-green stain on porcelain fixtures.

    – Black or dark brown water: Often caused by manganese in the water or pipe sediment. Manganese does not pose a threat to human health.

    – Brown, red, orange or yellow water: Usually caused by iron rust. Galvanized iron, steel, or cast iron pipes in a home or business, or the water main can cause rusty water.

    – Milky white or cloudy water: Usually caused by tiny air bubbles. If your water is white, fill a clear glass with water and set it on the counter. If the water starts to clear at the bottom of the glass first, the cloudy or white appearance is trapped air.

  • Smelly Water

Types of water odours & related concerns:

    – Petroleum, gasoline, turpentine, fuel, or solvent odors: These odors are rare, but potentially serious.

    – Metallic taste: Minerals, such as iron or copper, may leach into the water from the pipes.

    – Chlorine, chemical, or medicinal taste or odors.

    – Sulfur or rotten egg odour: Bacteria growing in your sink drain or hot water heater may cause odor.

    – Moldy, musty, earthy, grassy, or fishy odour: Bacteria growing in a sink drain or from organic matter such as plants, animals, or bacteria that are naturally present in lakes and reservoirs during certain times of the year may cause odour.

    – Salty taste: High levels of naturally occurring sodium, magnesium, or potassium may cause a salty taste. If you live in a coastal area, seawater may be seeping into the fresh water supply. This could be a health threat.
